This big reservoir with an area of 8ha is situated in the region of Annaberg – Viennaerbruck off the road to Mariazell and has a great variety of fish.

Besides cyprinids (chubs, roaches and carps) there are tall salmonids, such as brown trout and rainbow trout. Aggressive lake trout are a special attraction of this fishing ground.

If – surrounded by the fish gradually rising to the water surface – you wish to extend your floating line to a maximum or to look for giant fish with sinking line, this is the very place to enjoy these possibilities in many ways. In this area fishing can be carried out from a boat (which can be rent here) and from the Belly boat. Only fly fishing is permitted here. Day tickets are available from April 1st to October 31st; otherwise this area is only incorporated in the big general license and in the universal license.

It is compulsory the have an official fishing- or guest license for Lower Austria.
