The two lakes managed by the Austrian Fishing Association are situated in the northern Waldviertel within a quiet and densely wooded region.

There are the Mühlteich with 10ha and the Stadlteich with 1,8ha of water surface, the two latter being situated at Reingers.

The main fish in the lakes is the carp and the pikeperch. Overnight accommodation is possible at Litschau and Reingers in taverns or private houses. Day licenses to be obtained from June 1st.

It is compulsory to have an official fishing- or guest license for Lower Austria.
