The two sections (Große Erlauf Thormäuer I + II) reach
from the „Schießwand“ below the electric power
station at Erlaufboden downstream to the Nestelbergsteg (footbridge
at Nestelberg), (which is about 600m upstream from the Trefflingbach
representing the border between sections I and II) as well as further
downstream to the so-called Kollerreith below the mouth of the Hundsbach
(district border between Nestelberg-Gaming and St. Anton at the
Jeßnitz).
The Trefflingbach is licensed all over its entire length. The length
of the area without side brooks is 12km, width 12-18m. The river

trout and graylings. The catching tackle admissible is the fly rod
with artificial fly. Day licenses are available from 1st May in
restricted number.
