The area of Feistritz is situated in eastern Styria between Birkfeld and Floing, about 18,5km long with an average width of 10-20m.

The area holds brown trout, rainbow trout and graylings. Fishing can be carried out with the fly rod.

Day licenses are obtainable from 1st May. Annual season licenses are valid from March 16th to December 31st.

It is compulsory to have an official fishing- or guest license for Styria.
